Screening of 'The Show Must Go On'

Greetings from the Cinephile Film Club!

This Thursday, 2nd April at 6.30 pm, we are screening the documentary The Show Must Go On (60 mins) directed by Divya and Jall Cowasji. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.

In 2017, a group of veteran actors from the Parsi theatre scene reunited to stage one final performance. What began as a documentation of their rehearsals evolved into a film that captures the spirit of a close-knit community—where their enthusiasm for life and its simple joys proves truly contagious. The film has since been showcased at numerous festivals around the world and was selected to open the non-feature section at IFFI in 2022.
