About the film, Roger Ebert said, "Modern movies begin here," and the film has inspired several filmmakers around the world, including Quentin Tarantino. The story by Truffaut is about a crook (Jean-Paul Belmondo) who is on the run and tries to persuade his American lover, Patricia (Jean Seberg), to escape with him.  Here's a trailer of the film - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAuqDI4EAl4
