Screening of Eric Rohmer's The Collector.

Greetings from the Cinephile Film Club! 

This Thursday, 21st August at 6.30 pm, Sachin Chatte will host the screening of Eric Rohmer's The Collector (1967, 86 mins). 

A part of Rohmer's six moral tales, The Collector is as celebrated as the director's other masterpiece, My Night At Maud's. 

The film revolves around two men, a painter and an art dealer who have a way with women, but they meet their match in Haydée, a younger woman.

Few filmmakers delve on relationships and their complexities with the incisiveness of Rohmer.
