Screening of 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days

Greetings from the Cinephile Film Club!

On 16th Apr at 6.30 p.m., Sachin Chatte will host the screening of the acclaimed Romanian film, 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007,1 hr 54) directed by  Cristian Mungiu

Winner of several awards, including the Palm d'Or at Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Peacock at IFFI Goa, the film, inspired by a true incident, is set during the final years of the Ceaușescu era. The story revolves around the friendship of two female students who face a moral test when one of them seeks an abortion. This powerful film was also praised for the remarkable performances by the lead actresses.
