Public screening of Konkani film Claudia

CELEBRATING GOA STATEHOOD DAY WITH KONKANI CINEMA CLAUDIA 

To mark Goa Statehood Day, ESG Cine Phile Club  presents a special FREE screening of the popular Goan Konkani film Claudia produced and directed by Rajendra Talak on 30th May at 6:30 PM at Maquinez Palace, ESG, Panaji Goa. 

Claudia is the eighth film directed and produced by Rajendra Talak, one of Goa’s most acclaimed filmmakers. His earlier films Aleesha and Antarnaad have brought National Awards to Goa, while all his films have received State Awards, reflecting his outstanding contribution to Konkani cinema.

The film features acclaimed actor Shishir Sharma in the lead role along with talented Goan actors Omar De Loiola Pereira, Mukesh Ghatwal, Lulu Fortes, Dr Hubert Gomes, Dr Jitendra Nagarsekar and Sonia Shirsat in supporting appearances. The film also showcases child artists Minerva Naik and Maanas Talak.
A heartwarming story of a musician and his daughter, Claudia beautifully portrays Goan culture, traditions and values. The film is enriched with timeless classic songs such as “Claudia”, “Mog Tuzo Kitlo Ashelo”, “Godacho Pao”, “Mogan asson borem” creating a nostalgic musical journey and a tribute to Goan legendary composers, singers and lyricist of golden era of the 1960s and 1970s.
