Screening of Music In A Village Named 1PB

Greetings from the Cinephile Film Club!

On 23rd Apr at 6.30 p.m., we have a special screening of the documentary, Music In A Village Named 1PB (130 mins), directed by Surabhi Sharma. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker. 

Screened at several festivals, including DIFF, IDSFFK, and nominated for Best Documentary at the Critics' Choice Awards, the film is an endearing portrait of a community living in the Thar desert who are custodians and practitioners of timeless poetry and have kept age-old traditions of Sufi and Bhakti Sangeet alive.
