Screening of Casablanca

Greetings from the Cinephile Club! This Thursday, 16th  February at 6.30 pm, Sachin Chatte will host the screening of the classic film Casablanca, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.  The details are given below.

"True yesterday, true today and true tomorrow" - this description of one of the greatest films Hollywood has ever made is absolutely apt.  Humphrey Bogart plays Rick Blaine who is caught between the woman he loves (played by Ingrid Bergman, in her most memorable role) and helping her husband escape from the Nazis. 

Winner of 3 Oscars including Best Picture, Director, and Screenplay, the film also has some of the most memorable lines from Hollywood cinema - “Here’s looking at you kid”, “Round up the usual suspects”, “I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship” and of course, "Play it, Sam. Play As Time Goes By."
