With The Odyssey now in theaters, it's the perfect time to revisit the film that launched Christopher Nolan into the big league. Based on a story by his brother, Jonathan Nolan, Memento remains one of the greatest mind-bending thrillers ever made. Celebrated for its ingenious non-linear narrative and shot in color and black and white, the film follows a man with anterograde amnesia as he investigates his wife's murder. To compensate for his condition, he relies on an elaborate system of photographs, handwritten notes, and tattoos covering his body. The Tamil and Hindi film Ghajini was inspired by Memento.
