Screening of The Last Metro

Greetings from the Cinephile Film Club! 

This Thursday, 5th June, at 6:30 pm, Sachin Chatte will host the screening of the French film The Last Metro (1980, 132 minutes), directed by François Truffaut. The film has two legends, Catherine Deneuve and Gérard Depardieu, with the former as the wife of a theatre owner who must save her husband from the Nazis by hiding him in the basement of the theatre. . Depardieu plays an actor who is part of the theatre's new production. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film.
