Subject: Remembering Bergman and Antonioni

Today is the sad day, when two greats of World Cinema were claimed by the ironic hand of destiny on the same day last year - Ingmar Bergman and Michelangelo Antonioni. Bergman was 87 and Antonioni was 94. With the death of these two great masters an era came to an end.

We take this first year anniversary to announce 'Remembering Bergman: A Retrospective', a film festival of 7 great films of Bergman, across 6 cities and hosted by the Swedish Embassy in collaboration with Palador Pictures.

The highlight of the film is that such a retrospective with the original prints of Bergman films is being held for the first time in the country in such a grand scale.

The festival begins from the 8th of August on Delhi and after a week there it will pass on to Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai. The Ingmar Bergman films to be shown in the event include: || Wild Strawberries || Summer Interlude || Through A Glass Darkly || Winter Light || The Silence || Summer With Monika || The Devil's Eye ||.

For more details like time, venue etc. visit: www.mypalador.com/festival. For other details like partnerships or bulk booking of passes, please mail to am...@mypalador.com or call him at  +91 9920200988.

Woody Allen said of Bergman: "Probably the greatest film artist, all things considered, since the invention of the motion picture camera..."

Do not miss this great opportunity to see Ingmar Bergman's films on the big screen. Also, please help spread the word about the same by forwarding this mail.

Regards
