I'm looking for a song, I believe from the '70s, about a one-night stand ... it mentions leaving a bar and going to a hotel. I know it and I cannot think of it and it's driving me crazy! Anyone?

That song is Third Rate Romance, by the Amazing Rhythm Aces, which hit
the pop charts in the 70s.
Sammy Kershaw also did a country chart version of that song.
