Is there a working gallery downloader for deviantart. I would also like to stick to windows if possible. I had a working one a few days ago, -tips/download-gallery-favorites-and-scrapbook-of-any-deviantart-user/ but it no longer works.

Noticed that quite a number of people are looking for deviantart gallery downloaders so I decided to share WFDownloader App here. You copy and paste the link of the gallery or favourites page (whose images you want to download) into the application and it downloads them.

I joined to deviantart just today because I wanted to try the whole selling art thingy, but so far the web is giving me livid nightmares. I have 2 default galleries that cant be removed, and I can only add 1 deviation to each, aparently. When I go to "edit-featured-add deviations-featured" I only see one picture; the first one I uploaded. Weird shit starts when I drag a picture from my drawings folder. Suddenly, all the pics I uploaded to "featured" before can be seen. Thing is, the onw I just dragged doesnt just replace its previous copy, it stacks indefinitely. But whatever, guess I could live with that. Well NAH, because when I select all the pics I wanna add and press "add-done", it gets me back to my gallery screen, where all my galleries still have only one pic. I also created a new non-default gallery and repeated the same process, with the same results.

For anyone looking for a DeviantArt downloader, this is a quick tutorial that shows how to download from DeviantArt galleries and favourites in bulk. The tool I will be using to demonstrate this is called WFDownloader App. All you need to do is copy and paste the link of any DeviantArt gallery or favourite page (that you want to download from) into the application and do a search. After that, you can begin downloading the images and videos found. Yes, this tool will download both images and videos from DeviantArt with everything neatly named and organized.

Rule of thumb: If the gallery or favourite you are trying to download has more than 500 items in it, you are not a casual downloader and this method isn't for you. Use the API method that was just linked or you'll definitely encounter the issues in the next section.

Quick tip. Because people kept asking the same questions over and over in the comment section, I've decided to repeat this again here. If you are trying to download a DeviantArt gallery or favourite that has more than 500 items, do not bother with this tutorial, but instead use the API method that was mentioned here. In summary, if you encounter any issues with this method, just use the API method (rather than trying to follow these instructions below), it's superior. Thanks.

I'm trying to make an image gallery using Django and python. I'm new to HTML and CSS and need to show the images in a grid. I want one image in a row to be the same height but different width like Deviantart's. And the number of columns should be different like shown in the image below.

With CSS Grid you can accomplish this sort of "mosaic" image gallery layout. You just need to utilize grid-column and grid-row on grid items to specify the specific columns and rows they should occupy. This should be a good starting point for you to customize the grid further and attempt achieving a pixel perfect "Deviantart" style image gallery.

LOS ANGELES, May 17, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- DeviantArt, the world's largest online art gallery and community dedicated to creators and art collectors, today announced the extension of DeviantArt Protect to any creator or platform who would like to safeguard their work or their users' work in Web3. By offering the Protect service to any creator and platform, regardless of their work being published on DeviantArt, the company is highlighting its commitment to protect the entire creator community from art theft in Web3.

In tandem with your password, your login name helps you control your personal gallery of artwork (aptly called deviations) and account settings. And each account comes with a customizable profile that lets you update personal information and tailor your user settings. You can upload a deviantID (a picture that's displayed next to your user name) and input personal details, such as your favorite band or favorite artists, in your Devious Info section. You can also write in your Journal, which is basically a blog where you can discuss your art or anything else that's on your mind.

There are other benefits for paying members, too. You can apply journal skins to your blog to personalize its appearance, access your gallery's visitor statistics, participate in the beta testing of unreleased features, start polls and more. You can also sell prints of your work through deviantART's online store, although the site does take a percentage of your earnings.

Of course, one of the biggest benefits of deviantART is that you become part of an online community that provides exposure for its members. Each day, site administrators post Daily Deviations, which are hand-selected works from artists who create unique works and who actively participate in the community. And simply having a gallery of your best work online is important, too, letting you show off your creative skills to potential employers or fans with deep pockets and a love of interesting art.

Although garnering more profile views doesn't necessarily mean more accolades or paid work, marketing-savvy artists can use the site's many interactive networking features (and deviantART's embedded paid advertising links) to increase gallery traffic.

This makes it super easy for artists to share entire projects cataloging their work from start to finish. From basic sketches all the way to final pieces, you can organize everything into one post and share it all together on Behance.

DeviantArt is one of the largest art-focused online platforms. It allows artists to publish multimedia content either in the form of images (photos/drawings) or video for the enjoyment of the entire community.

Often many people ask this question that if we download the Images/Photos , then where will this Images/Photos be saved and saved. So I would like to tell that this Images/Photos will be saved by going to the download folder of your laptop. If you are, then you will go to your gallery and save it.

Excellent product (by ravirajpr)
Pros: Ease of use; Able to download pictures from a gallery or multiple galley; Very fast to download pictures; Create multiple projects which saves time and efforts.
Cons: None so far.

DeviantArt was loosely inspired by projects like Winamp facelift, customize.org, deskmod.com, screenphuck.com, and skinz.org, all application skin-based websites. Sotira entrusted all public aspects of the project to Scott Jarkoff as an engineer and visionary to launch the early program. All three co-founders shared backgrounds in the application skinning community, but it was Matt Stephens whose major contribution to DeviantArt was the suggestion to take the concept further than skinning and more toward an "art community". Many of the individuals involved with the initial development and promotion of DeviantArt still hold positions with the project, from administrators to volunteers serving as gallery directors and Message Network Administration. Angelo Sotira currently serves as the CEO of DeviantArt, Inc.

Other communities that offer a similar focus include Pixiv, which is essentially a Japanese counterpart of DeviantArt and tends to have less censorship regarding suggestive themes and is limited to just drawings and literature, so sorry, photography fans. Elfwood is an older fantasy art gallery that DeviantArt may have been later inspired by, and had its own share of backdoors drama in its heyday. Cghub.com was a site purely for professional artists, but effective censorship of suggestive pictures was sacrificed in exchange for a massive amount of truly talented work (for those interested, archived snapshots of several artists' pages can be found online).
