Grand Tour 2013 a resounding success!

It was an exhausting week, but the Grand Tour 2013 is done, and it could not have been much better!  

Chris Cromer of A "minor" Tuneup Custom Trumpet shop and I teamed up to visit the trumpet and horn studios at James Madison University, Virginia Tech, UNC-Greensboro, South Carolina, and UNC-Chapel Hill - 5 studios in six days!  

It's not easy to transport two repair shops, complete with Chris's ultrasonic cleaning tank, all around the Southeast!  It took a lot of muscle, little sleep, and the help of ten professors and their students.  Thanks to all, including the students who generously donated their time and efforts to make this a very successful trip.
