In the Ashkenazic rite, the Haftarah of Parshas Shekalim begins with the start of Joah's reign. But I just noticed that in the Sefardic rite, the Haftarah for Parshas Shekalim begins with the end of Athaliah's reign before going on to the beginning of Joash's reign. So I thought it would be appropriate to share my article about Athaliah tonight. This particular article happens to be my most widely-cited scholarly article (with 8 citations according to Google Scholar):
Ø “Queen Athaliah: The Daughter of Ahab or Omri?,” Jewish Bible Quarterly vol. 42:1 (January 2014).
Since this week rings in the month of Adar, I figured I'd also share to more articles as a special bonus:

We are now in the final stretch of the campaign, and this is the stage where every contribution genuinely determines when the book reaches publication. If you were considering participating, now is the moment — your support can quite literally push the project across the finish line.
