Thanks Mac, seeing the engineering inside a thunderbolt cable was
really interesting. The reason I buy cables from Apple is that I think
I can trust that if they are calling a cable a thunderbolt cable then
it really is a TBolt 3 or 4 or whatever they're selling it as.
I also write what the cable is on a little sticky file folder label
and put that on the cable so I can later tell which cable is what. I
wish there were some kind of symbols or color coding or something so
you could tell what the cable is, like resistors used to be back in
the days before history began.
