FOW BAT WALK in Cascades on Thursday February 11th 8:30 pm

We have just had a very kind offer from Duncan Emerson, ARC ranger, to
meet
FOW members at the Cascades to search the early night sky for bats,
and to
lead a short night walk.
Any one who is interested can join in, on this coming Thursday,
FEBRUARY
11th.
MEET AT - The Falls Car Park (take the Te Henga Road and follow the
signs to
the golf course. Drive through the course, past the golf club rooms to
the
car park at the very end of the road.
TIME - 8:30pm. Any bat spotting is most likely to be successful
between 8:30
and 9:00. For those who have time, the night walk will be
approximately
another 30 minutes.
Wear sensible footwear and clothing suitable for the evening.
Bring a torch.
