FOW Walk on the North Shore - 3rd May 2009 10:00 am Le ROY'S BUSH
3 May @ 10 am - noon. Meet at the intersection of Le Roy Terrace and
Hinemoa St (plenty of parking nearby in Le Roy and Glade Place, etc).
I imagine a short street walk down Hinemoa and Maritime Tce to Little
Shoal Bay to explain the process of the urban development ( and
deconstruction) of the bay over the last century which has created the
wetland. Then follow the walking track up the valley into the bush
noting the features, ending up very close to the start point,
surrounded by café options approaching lunchtime.
This is an easy walk for able bodied folk.
