Position: SDET
Location: Houston TX
Duration: 6months+ (possible extension)
Experience: 8+
Passport number is must at the time of Submission
Required Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication skills
• Will be expected to train a large group of developers
• Experience in coaching team members on TDD
• Must be able to prepare training documentation
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop robust and scalable test automation
solutions using Jasmine to create high quality, maintainable and performable
unit test code
• Collaborate with Tech-Leads and SME's in the area to
identify and improve unit testing
• Create documentation around the framework, best practices,
and learnings
• Mentor/Coach team members on developing automated tests
• Advocate test-first approach and testing best practices
• Collaborate with developers on architecture and design,
evaluate and improve processes to enhance software quality
• Create test data framework to allow for virtualization
• Work with DevOps to automate test suite execution under a
CI/CD build pipeline.
• Ensures all work is completed on time and under established
processes, practices, procedures and quality standards
Required Technical Skills:
• Seeking 8+ years experience with the following
skills:
• Test Automation experience in Jasmine in a JavaScript,
AngularJS, and Angular environment
• Experience with NUnit framework for C# .net desirable
• Experience in building modular and scalable unit test
automation frameworks from scratch for a variety of applications covering web
apps and web services
• Experience with test driven development
• Extensive experience with quality assurance tools,
practices, and techniques
• Understanding of agile methodologies such as test-driven
development, continuous integration, agile testing
