Pythonistas:

Our regular monthly meeting is scheduled for Monday night. But frankly
i'm running out of energy and wondering if there's enough benefit and
participation all around to keep the monthly meetings going.

So here's a challenge: _if you would like to keep the monthly meetings
going_, and are committed to attending, please respond to this thread
and let us know
* what's your level of commitment? Are you planning to attend Monday
night? next month? the month after? Willing to give a talk or share
about a project you're doing?
* what would you like to see happen at the monthly meetings?

Without sufficient interest, the clear choice is to stop meeting for
now. We can keep the Google group and mailing list alive regardless.
I'm willing to continue monthly meetings as long as it's really
meeting a need and others are committed to participation.

Hi Folks,

The structure and subjects that Adrian lists below are of more interest
to me than code sprints. I plan to attend this coming Monday.

Thanks all for the comments. Looks like we've got a quorum, so we're
on for tomorrow night, 6:30 -8 PM at Logos, 1313 Commercial Street in
Bellingham.

Adrian, which of these topics are you planning on talking about?

I could maybe talk about documentation (though i've still got a lot to
learn there) or enumerate(), or some other subject (but not of the
ones Adrian listed).

I could do:

Using StringIO to create in memory files
The power of enumerate()

These are two things I recently used in tandem to solve a problem.
