ELEMENTARY STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
APRIL 21 IN PASCO

If you've qualified, you can join 1000 other chessplayers at the largest tournament in the State.  If you haven't, you can still play in the accompanying tournament.  Volunteers are welcome also.  To see if you're qualified, go here: http://chess.ratingsnw.com/qualifiers.html .

APRIL 28, IN BELLINGHAM

USA'S CARUANA TO PLAY FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

News: 
Well, that hasn't happened since Bobby Fischer.  Mr. Caruana will be up against the formidable Magnus Carlsen.  If he wins, will we see a "Fabiano Boom" ?!  Hope so!  Go Fabiano!
