Bellingham Chess Club in-house Tournament

Oct 7th:

The BCC holds their in-house tournament every 1st Sunday of the month. Games are not rated, but registration is free and open for all ages to attend. Games are held at the Haggens cafeteria on Woburn from 2:00 PM to 5:00PM. No need to register online, walk-ins welcome!

Dueling Knights State Qualifying Tournament

October 13th:

The first state qualifier scheduled for the 2018-2019 season! Early registration is only $13 and open to K-12th graders. Register online quickly though, as there is limited slots available! Expect your standard 5 rounds with 25 minute/5 second delay per player.

BYC Quad Tournament

October 20th:

Quad tournaments consist of small section sizes (4) separated by rating. Only 3 rounds long with a time control of 25 minutes/5 second delay. These are relatively quick tournaments, so if you have other commitments in the day you might be able to squeeze it in! Quads are also open to K-12th graders.

St Paul's Knights State Qualifier

November 3rd:

St Paul's Academy will be holding a State Qualifier on November 3rd. The first 30 players will receive T-shirt! For any questions, E-mail ches...@sp-academy.org .

Chess Classes

Starting October 17th

Chess teacher Tanner Feemster will be starting small chess classes in October. Classes are open to K-12 and are purposed with providing students with a better understanding of chess tactics and strategy.
