LC THANKSGIVING CLASSIC K-8

THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18, LYNDEN

One of the BIGGIES!  The kickoff event of the elementary and middle school scholastic chess season.  It's an Elementary State Qualifier, and it begins the Middle School Chess League.  LC puts on a great tourney, with the entire gym as the skittles area.

NWL PRE-SEASON BETA TOURNEY

MONDAY EVE, NOVEMBER 27

AT MOUNT VERNON HIGH

Players of all levels, from 4th grade up to 12th grade, are invited to play in the Beta tourney.  It's a three round no-elimination tourney, where players are placed in 8-person sections based on rating/skill level.  Notation is required, clocks are used, Game/25.  A medal goes to all perfect scores.  Can you win three games in a row?  $3 donation requested, and you must enter in person, no later than 6:10pm.  Late entries cannot be accepted.
