CHESS IN THE PARK
FOR ALL AGES
SUNDAY JUNE 14, FAIRHAVEN VILLAGE GREEN

From the Bellingham Chess Club:   https://www.bellinghamchess.com/

Our "Sunday Chess in the Park" series continues Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 2pm to 5pm.  We will be playing at the Fairhaven Village Green in Fairhaven (1207 10th St, Bellingham). The Sunday Chess in the Park chess gatherings were popular in the past and will be held throughout the summer months.  See our website for future Chess in the Park dates also.

For our summer outdoor venues, in addition to chess pieces/board, bring a small pop-up table and two chairs, if you can.  If you don't have table/chairs, you're still welcome to come out and play.  The chess tables are set up in the periphery of the green area where there is cover in case of rain. There are cafes and coffee shops nearby.  The on-street parking is free on Sundays.  Since Fairhaven tends to be busier on Sunday afternoons, I would suggest to drop off the table/chairs at the venue and then find a parking spot.  See you there!
