The date has changed for the Wade King (Bellingham) K-8 tourney, originally scheduled for Feb. 7. It will now be held on March 7. Re-mark your calendars!

SKAGIT - ISLAND REGIONAL CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS
AT ANACORTES HIGH SCHOOL
SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, 2026

The San Juan - Island - Skagit High School Chess Championship and Middle School Chess Championship returns to Anacortes HS. It's open exclusively to middle and high schoolers who reside or attend school in Skagit, San Juan or Island counties.
Besides trophies and medals for individual winners, top finishing high school teams qualify to compete in the Big Dance, the 60th annual Washington State High School Chess Team Championships, being held this year February 27-28 at Mariner High School, Everett.
