DOG DAYS GRAND PRIX BEGINS
THIS WEDNESDAY JULY 30

http://northwestchess.info/dogdays25.htmlFor players 2nd grade to 12th grade. You can play in one, some, or all four. Whoever racks up the most wins in all four tournaments wins the Grand Prix. There are prizes at each individual Grand Prix tourney as well. Players must sign up for each one separately, then check in on tourney day between 3:30pm and 4:00pm. The first three are on Wednesdays, the last one on a Tuesday.

HOT SUMMER CHESS GRAND PRIX 2025 CONCLUDES
OWEN Z GRAND CHAMPION, KORBEN 2nd, JAXON 3rdIt took twelve hard-fought rounds of chess over the course of four tournaments to determine the champions, but the hot summer dust has settled over the Ferndale desert, and who has emerged from the sandy cloud on top? Owen Zhang, that's who! And scores of others were tested and strengthened in the crucible of sizzling chessboards. Congrats to the the top ten prize winners and all who gave their observation, calculation and visualization abilities a great workout.
