Visit Union Square Hospitality in NYC!
For
anyone interested in opening their own restaurant or for those who just like food and wine, now is your
chance to get the inside scoop from Danny Meyer's Union
Square Hospitality Group (think Gramercy Tavern, Union Square Cafe, etc.)
There
are 5 spots available for an exclusive wine class taught in NYC this Saturday, March 29th by
John Ragan, the sommelier and beverage director of USHG. Here, you'll get an inside look into the
industry and learn the Do's and Don'ts of designing a beverage menu. Please, you'll "dissect"
several glasses of fine wine during the 2 hour session.
If interested, contact Josh Wilson, to learn
more. The session will take place at 2pm on Saturday, March 29th in USHG's home office (Union Square,
NYC). The cost of the lab is $63 and includes transportation to and from NYC (with a bus leaving from
JMHH Walnut St at 11:30am and returning by 6:30pm.) Just show up and the the rest is taken care of.

Student Chef Dinners are Back
Thanks
again to everyone that signed up over the weekend to make this final round of Student Chef dinners the
most anticipated ones of the year.
There are still a couple of spots left for those
who slept through the invite, including at least one or two that I have my eye on if you don't take
it.
Sign-up here,
but remember the rules and only sign-up for one dinner to start this Quarter. We are watching the list
and will send anyone who breaks the rule to a foodie hell of lukewarm McDonald's hamburgers and
day old fries.
All Chefs: Remember to save your receipts! You know the drill by now,
but just saying for old times sake...

Student Chef Cookbook
With your help,
we are still planning to assemble the first ever Wharton Cookbook with recipes
from your favorite student chefs dinners. However, we need your help. We've got some mouth-watering
submissions already, but let's beef this book up by nominating your favorite dish from this semester's
dinners to be included in the cookbook using this
Google form or be brave and submit your own recipe to Hee-won directly. Then, we'll
reach out to them anonymously and beg them for their secret recipe...
