Lunch & Learn:
Stephen
Starr (4/10)
The Travel & Hospitality club has arranged
a special lunch and learn event with Stephen Starr, the management
team from Starr Restaurant Group this Thursday, April 10 @ noon in JMHH 345. Although you may know him as the guy who took all your student loan money! #ThanksCommonBond
Mr. Starr will provide a brief overview of what it takes to become successful
in the restaurant industry. The team will cover topics such as Starr’s brand evolution,
hospitality and the service model, concept development, and other topics relevant for the hospitality
and service industries. Please come prepared with questions as the format will be mostly Q&A.
And of course...lunch will be served!

Student Chef Courses:
Chocolate
Making (4/30)
Step 1. Sign-up for this event
Step
2. Learn how to make chocolate
Step 3. Employ skills to impress that special guy or
girl you've been hoping to bag before Beach Week
Step 4. Repeat!!
While we can't make you more attractive or a smoother talker, Sarah Hartman is willing
to share her secret chocolate recipes with you to hopefully make you a better cook.
You
may be attending one of her tasting already, but this is the only class where you'll actually learn
what's behind the scenes of Philly's sweetest new start-up.
Coming to a kitchen
near you on April 30th. Sign-up here and
as also, we charge you a $10 fee, but its refundable after you attend the event. Because Knowledge is
the Muscle of Hunger --- yeah, that makes no sense.

Student Chef Cookbook
With your help, we are still planning to assemble the first ever Wharton
Cookbook with recipes from your favorite student chefs dinners. However, we need your
help. We've got some mouth-watering submissions already, but let's beef this book up by nominating
your favorite dish from this semester's dinners to be included in the cookbook using this
Google form or be brave and submit your own recipe to Hee-won directly. Then, we'll
reach out to them anonymously and beg them for their secret recipe...
All
Chefs: Remember to submit your reimbursements, along with your receipts. With the end of the year coming,
we want to make sure you get paid.
