Midwinter Swim

to Whale swimmers

As is normal for all Whalers and affilates the traditional Mid winter
swim will be held at Mairangi Bay at 08.00 on Sunday 21 June, 2009,
followed by hot showers at the Surf Club rooms and then breakfast at
75 Knights Road, Rothesay Bay where internal heating liquids will be
applied.

This is compulsory and all are welcomed. I don't want to hear any
weak excuses.

3 Degrees this morning and tomorrow morning............ how cold is it going to be on Sunday morning. brrrr, it will be fresh!!!

Yes, I am in, will definately buy those booties though before I hit the water again.

How is the breakfast going to work? do we bring anything, food or money to help provide???

Forecast is light southerlies which should keep the pack ice off shore
