I just bought my Traktor X1 (MK3) I've never had a native instruments product before besides an account I made 2 weeks ago. I open the box and plug in the device thru USB-C HUB and it lights up, Yet the 3 line on top the switch you from Mixer - Effects is the only light staying on after turning on. I then proceed to open Native Access and log in. I put in my Hardware Serial number yet the number seems to not work " An error occurred while processing your serial number; it stays like that everything I put it in and can move on in getting my Tracktor Pro 3 to connect to the X1 MK3. I also want to make sure my MK3 X1 is compatible with my MacBook Air M1 2020, Ventura 13.5.
I'm running v2 on my primary (Mac) machine, and I just tried installing it fresh on my Alienware running Win10. Now I'm not even able to reach support because I keep getting these "TypeForm Errors". This is just wild. Thanks for replying PoorFellow! I appreciate your effort.
If you get errors in the internet browser then it is always a good idea to try another browser or two. I always recommends trying Vivaldi browser and Opera browser as alternatives , and remember to accept all cookies.
With respect to the N.A. activation problem , then did you already try this trouble help ? : Native Access Error Message: "Activation failed...Internal error during activation" : -instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000848825-Native-Access-Error-Message-Activation-failed-Internal-error-during-activation-
EDIT Add info: I've also tried using my developer tools to try and get some insight on the actual error return code but I have been unsuccessful. I've tried attaching a debugger to the process and looking in memory, I've grabbed packets both to and from Native Instruments servers, and I ran a trace log through Apple's Console. I'm not seeing anything that indicates an error code (which isn't overly surprising as most internal application data is obfuscated by design for security).
EDIT2: I followed your link (thanks for that by the way) and ran down their list. I verified the correct account was being used and all my other devices and software are associated with it. I then went in and deleted the "/Users/Shared/Native Instruments" folder, opened NA2, and input the serial to no avail. I also managed to access the NI support site finally (last night it was down) and submitted a ticket.
Sorry , if it were not "because of corrupted or missing activation tokens" as in help article then it could be a problem with the serial. Or if a more advanced problem maybe a problem for support. I did look up what people that previously have had that exact problem , but all I could find have had to contact support and also none of them returned with any feedback to the forum so really no statistics or explanations to support any conclusion other than most likely a case for support !
It's funny because I had Day 01 issues with NI stuff going back to the release of the Maschine, then the Maschine Plus, and now the X1. If I remember correctly, the issue with the original Maschine was also related to registration. The M+'s went out with some strange issue with the firmware that bricked them right out the gate. I'll report back with what NI says the issue is this time just so anyone who reads through this post won't be left in a cliffhanger ending. Thanks again for all your help PoorFellow -- your time and efforts are greatly appreciated regardless of outcome. Cheers!
The DN-X1600 used to work fine with Traktor Pro 2 soft but suddenly, probably because of Traktor update, I could not use timecode anymore. So I renewed Traktor once more to v 2.11 and found out that the 32 bit version is not available anymore. So I set it up with Asio4All as is guided. I have the sound on all channels as expected but Scratch is disabled, is there a solution?
1.) Can you with any ASIO driver switch the traktor decks to internal playback and hear the tracks?2.) Is the mixer set for routing phono inputs into the interface (refer to user manual) in DVS mode?3.) Post screenshots of each ASIO driver settings (mixers needs to be shown as connected etc)4.) Why are you running the sampling rate at 96khz?
Designed to match the performance of the L60LE Series, LA555 and LA805 front loaders ensure precise operation and improved productivity. With the standard equipped front loader valve and lever, the front loaders feature outstanding lift capacity and lift height for an impressive performance with each load. Plus, loader lift and bucket dump cycle speeds are amazingly fast.
Open Source. This ensure if your development team needs to add special tests or interface with special equipment it can be done. Fork and build. We'd be happy to consider pull requests too if it makes sense. Of course, if you don't want to deal with building source code, there's an installer. You can have Tractor running on your desktop in minutes.
Turnkey. If you are using a QA401 or a QA450, then you should be able to automate most all of your testing without having to write a single line of code. From instructing the operator to perform setup tasks, to driving the audio test instruments, to logging the results to a database--it's all there out of the box. Just visit Github and run the latest installer.
Generating an Audit Trail. Best manufacturing practices include the creation of audit trail for each of your products, so that you can be sure various sub-assemblies and final products were correctly tested, assembled and passed final testing. Tractor can talk to a SQL database running on-site OR it can connect to our database in the cloud. Either way, your data can be saved and queried at a later date so that your engineers can better understand how the product is yielding in the factory.
Easy to get started. Create a first test in minutes. With Tractor, you can interactively build a list of audio tests for your product. All of the parameters of the test can be interactively adjusted as you refine the test.
Small footprint. Tractor is lean, requiring just a few Mbytes of space on your machine. Unlike some other test environments, Tractor can run on low-spec machines making it possible to build a full test bay, including the test equipment and a PC, for under $1000.

After a little jiggery pokery with equipment that was plain busted, I bought an A rated, perfect working order Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2 from CEX. For those not familiar, this is a large concern in the UK, and other countries, legitimately dealing in quality second hand electricals. Anyway, I duly received the hardware, and began to set things up... only to find that I could not register the product in my name, despite having the original card details, etc.
It turns out that NI have an utterly inflexible and frankly preposterous policy, whereby they will not allow second-hand hardware to be re-registered unless the original owner has first requested de-registering. So if someone simply forgets, or can't be bothered, the second owner is stuffed. NI actually told me that I should return the hardware to where I bought it.
While security is always an issue, of course, it seems nonsensical to me that someone who has the original paperwork (which a thief is very unlikely to have) and can prove that the product was bought from a legitimate source, should be treated this way. NI are basically making their own product useless, which in turn when this is more widely known, will result in fewer people buying because selling on at a later date will be made impossible. Places like CEX won't accept goods that have to be returned because the maker chooses to leave them crippled.
As a result, I will NEVER buy any NI software or hardware again, and as promised will be taking to social media for the next 6 months in an effort to warn others that this is what they can expect, under similar circumstances, from Native Instruments. A company without common sense, who clearly does't give a toss about second owners.
It's a common practice for the seller to deregister the hardware/software. That's how licenses work.
Whenever I sold my Maschine (sold it and bought others several times because I can't afford keeping lots of gear) I met with the buyer at my office, and deregistered it under his assistance. But again, not all sellers have good faith like me.
Yeah, but if they asked the original owner if he'd deregistered, and he said yes, they'd take that on good faith. Again, NI should have no problem switching reg providing proof of ownership can be provided.
An impractical plan for people who buy from CEX, or on-line. Once a seller has his cash, and isn't concerned, NI's policy is to effectively render the product useless. There is no justifiable excuse for no using common sense. NI are just a bunch of gits who don't care unless you buy directly from them. As a result, they've probably lost sever hundred quid from me in 2017.
I'm certain they would - if people were willing to pay extra staff costs.
Their customer base doesn't count in 2 figure amounts worldwide
You seem to have few ideas about running a software business of that scale.
Might be a bit off-topic, but buying First-Hand from NI is barely alright. Doing computer upgrades & migration all week, and NI's unprofessional / rude phone support blatantly told me, dude your version is too old, just buy the new one. Only after emailing them again did they fix my issue quietly behind the scenes, but their actual email reply was strangely unrelated and unhelpful. A bit of hit or miss I guess.
