Hey oop, here you are Down Under, RMick.
You *do* get around.

Linda~
Hi Linda.
Mick drew my attention to this group, even though I am the kiwi, and not
he....;-)
Have I seen you posting on rec.arts.tv.uk.coronation-st ?
Gill
Have you paid your entrance fee?

Used to have one or two pals from this part of the world but sadly they've
moved on.
> Well , hi both of you .

Only one server will allow me on here now, and that's not the most
reliable server. I posted that first post yesterday and it's taken till
now to see it appear *plus* any replies.
How are you these days? How's Ron?
> Just got a myspace .com today.
> Have family on there , thought I better catch up with them.
Invite them all round for lunch. Get Ron to shoot a possum or something
and lay on a big spread. Then sit back and wait for one of them to take a
turn at hosting the party. ;-)

We never knew what wgtn stood for till one day a crazy woman appeared,
accusing us of driving her husband to attempt suicide with all of our
nastiness. We explained that we weren't the original 'owners' of the group
and she simply vanished. However, somebody else appeared and explained
about wgtn and how it had been replaced by the nz thing and then *she*
vanished.
You *are* the first NZ resident that I've seen on here in five years.
Well you never know, now I've posted something here, maybe others will come
along.... like the bus thing, you know :-)
However, what can I say here that I don't already say elsewhere? :-o

Absolutely nothing. Long as we can chat somewhere....
Life would be much simpler for me if all of my friends
posted on the same group, then I wouldn't need to employ multiple servers
and all these disused groups.
Sadly, after nine years of this, we get spread far and wide and it's
better than losing touch altogether.

"I'm pledging my time to you,
Hopin' you'll come through, too."
So far, all the groups we inhabit I can receive through news.datemas.de.
Is that what you mean by a "server"? Is it worth you trying that? It's free
<German,you know>
I checked the status of wgtn.chat on Google. It's working there, too.
However, interestingly, datemas de did not forward to me all your testy
tests... though they are there on Google.
<Harry Redknapp????????>
Gill
Gill
Silly me, Ignore the above. The test ones are ancient history....

I haven't tried that one although I have heard good words about it - yes,
it's a server. I can get all of 'our' groups on 'readfreenews' but at the
moment Motzarella is the quickest by far so I just jump over for this one
group
> <Harry Redknapp????????>
He's the manager of one of our local soccer teams (Portsmouth) and at one
point he resigned and went to manage the other local team (Southampton).
Derek (my wife's BIL) of acadia.chat fame is a devoted Portsmouth fan so
at the time of Harry's 'desertion', I took on the role of HR in an effort
to wind Derek up. I failed. He's pretty much unwindable. It's fun trying
though. <lol>

So he's your wife's sister's husband?
Anyway, now I understand the nature of some of the comments that have passed
between you and Derek... :-D
Well Mick, I think I'll be dropping onions and wgtn.... nokky et al know
they are most welcome to join us in Funnytown and I don't want to be popping
like gingerbeer corks in and out of too many groups...... see you in
Funnytown, Acadia and Mudge's castle....:-)
Gill

No problem. See you there.
Not me, but welcome.
Linda~
Sorry to hear that , those bloody servers.

We are fine , just tired from working . Ron is going on a fishing trip in
about 2 weeks with a buddy . They are going to Tennesse to Reel Foot Lake.

There was a bunch of them here for Easter dinner. Ham and turkey and Ron
didn't kill to get it on the table.
There is not alot of hope of anyone else having a dinner , they all say
their places are too small.

I live in the city of Hamilton.

I'm with you. I much prefer bonding with women. ;-)
<Gill makes mental note to back away if she ever sees Mick wielding a tube
of superglue>
Gill
Even *I* don't go in for that sort of bonding. ;-)
