WGHS: Death of Pierre Debs ('75)

Hey Everyone,

Julie Oden Thornton made me aware of Pierre's illness and followed by his death. I have highlighted a note below that 

his sister, Andrea '77, from our class has asked to be sent out. If you know of anyone in the Class of '75 that doesn't get

word of his passing, to please pass the information along to them.  Please continue to keep Andrea and her family in your

thoughts and prayers as they deal with this sad situation. This is never easy for us to deal with, especially when our 

classmates are so young.

Dear Classmates and friends,

Please forgive my not answering emails concerning Pierre.  My family and I were have been in a state of grief and our focus was Pierre. It is with such deep regret and sadness that I need to tell you all that he passed away early this morning in San Diego and now he is with God.  Services and memorials have yet to be worked out.  Tina, Paul and I (our parents passed away years ago) thank you for your wonderful prayers and love.  It's very hard to talk of Pierre in the past tense, but he was a wonderful, intelligent loving individual and to say that he will be missed is an understatement. Those of you who wish to contact me, please understand that I may not get to each one of you in a timely manner, but I will try.  Thank you for understanding.

Hi WGHS folks,

I just got word from an old friend and fellow musician, who has stayed friends with Pierre Debs over the years, that Pierre is doing badly with Colon Cancer. He currently lives in San Diego. Pierre was our next door neighbor on Woodbrook Drive, growing up and was a trumpet player, WGHS Class of '75 ( I believe). He has had an interesting career in the film industry as a screen writer in LA. He now lives in San Diego.

Please lift him up in prayers. I'll try to get an address.
