I've been down with the flu so I haven't been keeping up with email or posting or the like.  Soepkipje, Jim, you have been turning out some very impressive breads.  I sorry I haven't replied sooner, by they look terrific.  I've update my blog (http://wgbchallenge.blogspot.com/) with my efforts but I must say I jealous of yours.

Sorry to hear you were ill, and thanks for the compliment, you have no
need to be jealous,as your breads are awesome, your creative shaping
and scoring are an inspiration to us all!
food for thought, I have not had the flu for almost 30 years, I take
daily, 1 multivitamin half in the morning ,half at night,,in addition
to 500mg vit c, 1200mg fish oil pill, both 3 times a day. I don't
know if this is the reason, or I'm just immune, but that's a long time
not being ill. The most I might get is a sore throat once a year.
Feel better soon,and happy baking
jim

Sorry for this late reply, but I've been very busy lately. Jim and Joe
I like your cinnamon buns. Joe what a great idea to use a pan and Jim
who is going to eat all those buns?

Again I used half of the recipe and made 12 small buns:

#22 and #23 will follow

Have a nice weekend

I gave half of them to my brother inlaw, who would't know the
difference. Since they were dry from overbaking I discarded the rest
of them. It was not my favorite type of dough for buns, to much of a
bland bread taste.
i just looked at yours, and of course they are culinary master piece !
I have been a bit busy also, making biscotti for an upcoming winery
event, needed to make 30+ dz 5 1/2 long, each packaged and labeled .
Now I have to make sample pieces for each of the ten flavors ( down
from the 21 i originally had). I usually sell about 25 dz at this
event , not to bad for 6 hours.
I also kinda backed off the other PR challenge, not ready to make a
5 pound loaf (miche) pehaps for thanksgiving I will.
great weekend to all!

Thanks.  I do the multivitamin, but not the other.  I don't get sick often, but 30 years is impressive.  The problem with being a teacher is I get exposed to a lot of things on a regular basis.
