In comparison with other women,
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women
are 34 times more likely to be hospitalised from family violence
and 10 times more likely to die as a result of violent assault.
It's Day 3 of #16Days
 and we're calling on governments to STOP locking up Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women
& taking our mums away. Instead of building prisons, governments must
invest in OUR self-determined solutions and culturally safe FVPLSs

This #CoreAndActive Team facilitate #GrassRootsAboriginalVoices & #Grassroots #VoicesInSolidarity with #AboriginalPeoplesRights via #WGARcompilations and/or Twitter several times a fortnight.. these #WGARenewsletters are posted on our #WGARnewsPublicGoogleGroup between six (6) and eight (8) times a fortnight..
