27 Mar 15: "Matargarup elder Bella Bropho says the actions
of the city were deplorable in trying to move Perth's
homeless away from a safe space. She says donations of new
tents and swags have poured in and the homeless camp was
re-established hours after police and the City of Perth
workers left." Gerry Georgatos, Correspondent

The Stringer: Remote communities - Homelands - 'leaked' reports corrupt the real story
http://thestringer.com.au/remote-communities-homelands-leaked-reports-corrupt-the-real-story-9958
27 Mar 15: "As soon as I released part of the list of
remote communities - Homelands - to be targeted for ‘audit’
by the Western Australian Government, all of a sudden,
‘leaked’ lists were secured by other media. But the onus of
what I argued that my Government insiders had to say was
let slide altogether by the mainstream media. The
mainstream media failed to chase down why the Government is
doing what it is doing and instead kept signifying finely
tuned Government mantras; ‘audit’ of community
infrastructure, viability, sustainability, cost benefit,
and to the latest sell of social ills. ... "

The Stringer: Here is part of the list of the threatened Homelands - remote communities
http://thestringer.com.au/here-is-part-of-the-list-of-threatened-homelands-remote-communities-9936
22 Mar 15: "We will be damned by the future if we sit quiet
on any dispossession of Homelands - ‘remote communities’
- just as we damn the past for similar brutal dispossessions,
for the evil of the Stolen Generations, the Stolen Wages,
en masse indenture, apartheid, the lot. The dispossession
of hundreds of Homelands, loosely referred to as remote
communities, has been in the mix for a long while. The bent
of Governments for assimilation has not died, it is still
their way. But assimilation is not their end all; it is a
tool, a means to the end. Exploitation is the driver, and
assimilation is the servant." By Gerry Georgatos
