A few updates: 

1. Nearly everyone who has joined the email list now (the current list of binomials is Jim Balhoff, Karen Cranston, Markus Doering, Robert Guralnick, Cody Hinchcliff, Hilmar Lapp, Naim Matasci, Dmitry Mozzherin, David Nicolson, Thomas Orrell, Cyndy Parr, David Patterson, David Patterson, David Shorthouse, Arlin Stoltzfus, Andrea Thomer, Gaurav Vaidya, Matt Yoder). 

2.  Also, Matt Yoder has started a document to develop content for the proposal.   If you do not have permissions to edit, let Matt know, and he can add you to the access list.  Here is the link:

I'll host this on a google hangout. It's open now (way early). To

If you can not connect contact me, 'diapriid' on skype. Or leave a
big nasty message at the head of the google document. The meeting
only handles 9 people, hopefully this is enough.

After talking this over with Matt, we decided that using google+ was too much of a risk-- we have 17 people on the email list.  I'll send connection info for a free teleconference in just a minute.  So, feel free to hangout with Matt now, but the main teleconference will take place by phone.
