Hi All,

Thanks again for coming together to pull this off. I'll send along
the final proposal off-list to those interested, it did not deviate
much past the google doc, though I did add a couple more buzz words.

Special thanks to Gaurav and Andrea for chiming in at the last second-
some nice improvements there, and to Paddy for pushing things forward
and cleaning up behind me.

Have a good rest of the weekend,
Matt

Matt: thanks so much for taking the lead on this!

I've started a basic TNRS page on the EvoIO wiki: http://www.evoio.org/wiki/TNRS -- I think we should try pushing the use cases and other contents onto the wiki for long term storage. I won't have time for that until later this week, but if you can copy over some content -- even if it's not properly wikified -- it'd be a huge help!

cheers,
Gaurav

Thanks to you, Matt, and the others for following through to submission.  The timing wasn't so great for some of us but it turned out great. Good luck!

Congrats to everyone for pulling this off - particularly Matt! I backed out of the writing so not to create a COI with NESCent. If you do get funded, I'll be excited to help out.

Cheers,
Karen

Congrats Matt, and to everyone else who helped to pull this off in such a short time - you can all be proud of the outcome.

As Karen already alluded to, as NESCent staff we normally don't actively participate in the proposal writing for Center programs, lest some of the staff most knowledgeable about these kinds of proposals are prohibited from helping to evaluate their merits due to COI.

Good!  I'd like to add some detailed results from the summer on using MSW3 and the Bininda-Emonds mammal tree.

Hi everybody,
I'm hoping to do some text moving over the weekend. If you've written use cases on the TNRS proposal [1], could you please drop me an e-mail to confirm that you don't mind me making them -- and all your comments -- public? No stress if you do! I'll move my own user cases over first to http://www.evoio.org/wiki/TNRS/UseCases

cheers,
Gaurav

I'm OK with text moving over, thanks for this.

Might be good to consider using the group to send out updates on
related sightings, for example Rod Page wrote this last week:
http://iphylo.blogspot.com/2012/11/zoobank-data-model.html. Other
news of note?

Thanks! I've moved both your comments and use cases over to http://www.evoio.org/wiki/TNRS/UseCases -- please let me know if you think we need more details/information.

Please feel free to edit, modify, delete or add new content to that page, or just insert new comments with your name!

cheers,
Gaurav
