Hi folks,

I was thinking about the use cases in the document and wanting more clarity about the value proposition for vendors.  From a vendor perspective, are we aspiring for profile reuse (ie. economy of scale)?  The framework generates reusable libraries of profiles—do I have that right?

Finally, in general, I’m thinking about, as standards builders, how do we imbue ethical considerations into the development of the standards we create?  Which is, btw, what prompted my suggestion for the discipline of contemplating misuse and abuse cases.  I’m not an expert; just an aspiring student. Here are some resources I shared recently with a W3C WG:

I’d like to see Andrew weight in on this, while I agree with Lisa  requiring disciplines around abuse and misuse.

As far as the framework generating reusable profiles, it is my understanding this is only the case if the profile creator, which will more than likely be a business or company contribute the profile to Kantara.

Good stuff for sure, building trust isn’t easy, and being ethical and transparent upfront does help and go a long way with most people.
