None of those options sound very useful, but we certainly can't sneak into anywhere! :-)

Don't we have to drop this girl off somewhere?

Also, Gorkun really isn't contagious unless you go licking his feet... which I doubt anyone will be doing disease or no!

After this information reaches Lokgrund, he gets sent back from the hold to rejoin the party and help them get rid of their diseases. So Lokgrund returns to the village and will help the party out. His Proving has been delayed to help the party (Lokrund will transit into Runesmith after this session.).

you don't really know where the girl needs to go , she is just tagging along for the moment as she is still in a little shock

if the ogre wants to interrogate her then she will breakdown and cry saying she misses her mother in kislev ( who by the way divorced her father a few years ago ) who she has not seen in years

so the ultimate goal is to return the girl to her family many miles away however the burning question is do you wish to start you journey or try and get rid of the disease first ?

Rob

stenchfoot is not too much of a problem but redspot is a little contagous and could have issues if it is not cured

I thought she was just up the road. If she is forever away then disease first.

I can always fix Adleberts disease by eating him!

1. to travel to Grimminhagen , sneak into a temple and acquire some healing potion , the town is 3 days travel away and a somewhat perilous journey , the heroes would probably be denied entry into the town because of the disease

2. make their way back to the scribe in garssen in the hope of finding a cure within the scribes manuscripts , but they would then need to obtain the components for the cure

3. there is one other option , it is rumoured that there is an old woman who lives in the woods to the north who might be able to help the infected heroes

Okay.  Adalbert is rather inclined to seek a cure for this very annoying disease.  As for the method we go in finding a cure, he will be open to either of the first two options in the following order of preference.  (2) then (1).

He heard terrible rumours about dealing with solitary women who dwell alone in dark woods.  Such a course of action would be as daft if the aid of Nurgle itself was sought out.

As for the Orge's solution, all I have to say is "No. Besides, my father always said I was nothing but bone and gristle and without doubt that would be completely unappealing to our ogre 'friend'."

As for the girl, perhaps we can leave her at this inn until we're cured.  I'm sure she will understand that traveling with us would not be prudent in our current state and that she will continue to fairly safe if she stays at the inn until we return.

Joe.

This inn is perfectly safe. Aside from the fact that half the people in the inn last night were murdered!

Well ... This is Warhammer Fantasy. The Death-o-Meter doesn't bulge unless there's been at at one or two dozen people killed or the equivalent of 50% of the PC party.

Who has two thumbs, an extra gold coin and no diseases? This guy! Have fun all. I will be envious of your adventures while I am playing Air Force for the weekend.

If need be, Niklaus will valiantly volunteer to lag with the girl and look after her. Someone needs to sensibly consume tea and biscuits. However the opportunity to travel back to Garresen to spend time in the scribes library would appeal to him as well. In any case, he gives Adelbert and Gorkun a wide berth.

The moral of the story, whatever action suits best to get me back in the story action after this weekend is the one I prefer. I hope to rejoin soon to asses more of the situation.

Niklaus can indeed take the girl back with him to catalog the scribes collection of manuscripts and this will form the part of the ongoing storyline so his time will not be wasted

the session went off to a flying start with the bad charm rolls to try and engage the priest in conversation ant try to get some sort of healing for the intrepid heroes so instead they went back to town only to be told that they wed not welcome because of the decease they were caring , the others who were clean of the afflictions slept in the local inn

Mean while Niklaus had managed to find a recipe that he thought would cure them he just needed some special components which the heroes went off to get which were namely a twig from an old tree , a horn and an old bone  , well suffice to say they managed to fins a twig in a wood nearby , where they were staying and managed to dispatch a minotaur for its horn though lokrund did take a rather large gash and promptly dropped to the ground

the last bit was that they needed an old bone , now you would have thought that they would have snuck into an old cemetery or found something really old layong around but no the intrepid heroes found an old grave buried on unconscrated ground with strange markings on the coffin , which they then proceeded to bash open ant take one of the bones and then rebury the coffin

Niklaus then made a pultis from the ingredients ( the heroes noticed a strange glint in his eye ) this pultis was then rubbed on the infected areas

That night two of the heroes slept out in the open among the stars  , Around the time of midnight a strange smoky wisp was seen

in the morning the pultis had hardened and after removing the dried substance off the heroes inflections had gone , looks like they were cured

Now there are two items i would like to bring to the readers attention

1. was that a sprit of the dead the heroes have just released into the world
2. did they really use the sprits old corrupt bones to put into a pultis and rub into their skin

see you next time HAAARRRR HHHAARRRRR ( DM cackle)

Sounds like it is time to leave town and not be concerned about the consequences. They didn't give us sufficient food and/or gold for killing a huge ass minotaur that could have single handed wrecked their whole town if he got up the dander to do it.

Oh and what was with that insane gleam in Niklaus' eye about? What has he been reading while having tea and biscuits with the Scribe?

Erm did anyone mention anything about searching the cave after killing said Minotaur ? , the Minotaur was not very happy when lokrund took his vengeance out on a poor little ungor , oh and that nice 2 handed axe that the Minotaur had

I did, I asked if there was anything else in the cave, after I chased off the little beasties and I knew I couldn't help Lokrund. I thought you said there was nothing there but the dead.

Ah , sorry I must not have heard that , yes there was something of interest , notably a small chest which inside you found :
A hand written book which on a little close inspection looks like it could be a diary
A few little items of no intrinsic value but you would guess that they could be personal items
And a total of 100 silver pieces

You would have taken the book to Nicklaus who would have told you that yes it was a diary of a family with the last entry being a few weeks ago and telling of this meeting that was held at midnight and the rituals that were being performed. If you were to guess it might be that this group of beast men and Minotaur and the family mentioned in the diary are one and the same

The diary mentions a place that centres around an old castle a few miles from garrsen where this ritual was taking place

So it looks like a chaos cult has sprung up , will you investigate ?
