Well, this may help my wind sensor to recover. It seems to stop sending when it gets too cold.

The finnish station I found on the web (http://opiitu.com/30days.html) seems to have the same problem.... Note that it is probably the northest wfrog in the world: http://g.co/maps/sxwgd

I have the connection problems, too but not very often. The connection is back after 2.3 minutes (the reciever turn the LED back on).

So, I hope the weather get not too cold here.

Hi all!,

Here (in Mallorca) is cold for our standards ... but not like in
Finland !!
http://www.mallorcaweb.net/jpuigsegur/wfrog/24hours.html

At my parents (northern Catalonia) is quite cold and windy also:
http://www.mallorcaweb.net/jpuigsegur/wfrog_LJ/24hours.html

Maybe we could have a global map of wfrog stations instead of a
list ... what do you think?

Laurent: in my WMRS200 I used lithium batteries instead of regular
ones and it make a difference, specially in cold (well ... not so cold
actually) weather. I got them in Leroy Merlin. They are more expensive
but work perfectly and last longer.

BTW, I was preparing a list of changes since the last version with the
idea of releasing wfrog 0.8.2 which I think it is quite due now. What
is your opinion? When I have the list prepared I'll post it here.

I also think we should include wfrog in Debian so that it can be
easily downloaded and installed from Debian-based distributions. I'll
be happy to volunteer for this task if no one else is interested.

Jordi.

Hi Jordi,

the idea to release 0.8.2 and include wfrog in the debian-repo sounds very good :)

I have also lithium batteries for all my sensors (Energizer Ultimate). But now (a half year of using) my temp sensor send the battery_low flag (Solar panel installed…) and I dont know why. It sends the flag now since 2-3 months without any connection-problems :/

When the weather gets warmer, I will take a look on it.
