I realised that I am not as keen on the rules as I think I am as well some other players. I blame it on real life or maybe knowledge of other war games (*mumbling* pesky stupid real life). I mean how often have you stopped to look up a common rule or ask another player during their game.
I am just getting tired of looking up rules during a game or mis-remembering them or having someone mis-remember them for me. So, in some of my spare time I have dog eared pages and marked the sentences in my small rule book of all the crap that keeps coming up. I do not think we are all messing up majorly its like a snowball effect that adds up as the game goes along and sometimes makes or break or causes a draw.
Example: I was helping some new players out and advised them that you may not march into a building. A little later I explained this to a player who shall remain nameless and they said with conviction that that was a legal move and I bought it. Later during mine and nameless players game he attempted to charge one of my units I fled and he wanted a redirect I explained to him that he had to make an attempt at catching them B/C if he did catch them he can not redirect... he bought it. Not true. Oops sorry. Found out later.
These are not intentional things, well lets hope not. It just happens. So, I am making a quick rules summary without the rule book pork and fat of all the most common woopsies I can think of or caught later on in other games. Not to mention speed up game times and add to the fast paced fun and carnage the new rules were intended to add.
If any one of you all would like to add to my list or bring up stuff before I post it I will be happy to add it if it already hasn't been.
I'll be bringing copies of this list along with some of the charts and summary sheets that are in the back of the rule book to the shop Sunday if anyone would like one shoot me an email.
