Subject: [EXTERNAL] Dangerous Heat Weather Briefing #3
Good Afternoon NWS Partners,
What has changed: No significant changes to the forecast regarding the dangerous stretch of heat Wednesday through Saturday. The risk of severe thunderstorms has increased some for parts of the region Wednesday afternoon and evening.
A prolonged stretch of very hot and humid conditions will result in dangerous heat across the region Wednesday and continuing right into the July 4th holiday weekend. Please see the attached briefing for the details.
The experimental NWS HeatRisk website is designed to forecast heat related impacts. An extreme risk is likely Friday and Saturday.
