Hey guys...what do you think is the best wax/sealant in terms of
PROTECTION and DURABILITY?
So far I'm quite impressed with Collinite 476S ...

Collinite 476s should be one of the strongest if not the most.
Couldn't watch for how long the beading lasts but the shine I got from
Carlack NSC + LLS (Similar products to Klasse AIO + SG) sealant twins
did last a good 6-7 months maybe longer. I could have applied LLS a
second layer a day after the first but I just can't find the time to
rewash and seal the car.

A good pre-cleaning does pay as far as I know, as in the case of
Carlack's twins. For instance, ValetPro from UK rates its wax/seal
product Artemis between 3-6 months. 3 months if used after a mild
cleaning with their multi purpose paint cleaner/wax/qd product Citrus
Bling, but a good 6 months after a proper polish with Achilles Prep,
again their specialised paint cleaner/polish.

Carlack Nano Systematic Care AIO is said to be a great paint cleaner
to be topped with an LSP. Carlack NSC + Collinite 476s is a highly
regarded durability king AFAIK.

Have to agree with Seckin too! it is one of the best in the "wax"
category. If you want something with more durability and protection,
you'll have to look into the "coating" category, which is relatively
new to the consumer market. Of course, price is also much higher
compared to a tin of Collinite 476s. :)

Really interesting threads are growing in other forums on Gtechniq
(C1) and Aquartz coatings. They hide swirls, protect for years and
even unbelievably makes your clearcoat scratch resistant. I want to
try Aquartz one day, but as you may know these pro products need a pro
to apply them. They can't be removed without some serious abrasive if
applied wrong.

Oh there are some other, "regular type" sealants like Mark V IP100 and
Glisten those claim to have over a year durability if applied with a
high speed buffer. A high speed buffers friction generated heat helps
the sealant to bond better, they say. I got my bottle of IP100 from
www.carnaubawaxshop.co.uk. Haven't tried it yet but my rotary came
just a few weeks ago and would like to try it once I get better on
rotary.
