The upcoming census will be historic in several ways. We are hosting this consultation for civil society organisations and all interested individuals to join us and deliberate on how we can engage with the process. With this consultation we hope to further our understanding of the census process, its significance this year, opportunities for civil society engagement, potential risks and challenges for marginalised communities, and possible strategies for collective action around these.
We held a national consultation with a similar agenda in October this year.
With this upcoming consultation, we're hoping to bring together experiences and reflections of civil society specifically in the southern states.
