Dear Members, 

Thank you for expressing interest in attending the Pre-Budget Consultation on disability-related allocations. The Consultation is scheduled for 8th December (Sunday) at 3 PM (Rescheduled) on the Zoom Platform. 

Please note that the discussion will be based on the following four parameters:

1) General comment on budgetary allocation for PwDs, including the need for disability budgeting. 

2)  Mapping trend and budgetary allocation for the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DoEPwD). 

3) Scheme-wise allocation of funds under the DoEPwD and identifying the barriers to implementation. 

4) Role of the State in lack of allocation and underutilisation of the funds. 

These points will help us send objective recommendations to DoEPwD; hence, it would be helpful if you could contribute your valuable suggestions on these.
