Stage Storage Curve

Hello! I've got most of the water budget looking awesome, but I'm having an issue with adding a stage storage curve. The curve loaded into Wetbud fine, however when I try to apply it to a scenario, I get a "max wetland volume exceeds rating curve" error. I still get this error even if I shrink the wetland in my scenario down to a small fraction of the volume of the highest value in my curve. I have the curve set up as a cumulative total from the lowest elevation in the wetland to the weir elevation in 0.1 foot increments. My average bottom elevation plus weir depth is equal to the highest elevation on my curve. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Additionally, my understanding of the role of this curve is that it would allow the model to account for a wetland with an irregular shape instead of having the model assume a "bathtub" shape. Is this correct? Portions of the manual suggest that it only really functions to set the water levels of the final water budget in terms of elevation instead of inches from zero, while retaining the regular wetland shape assumption.
