Folks,
As I've been mentioning there are very powerful techniques available for assembling standardized biological parts (IGEM biobricks). Biocurious has been working towards creating opensource techniques and biological parts which can be shared freely across labs. I'm attaching some papers and a PPT here for you to review describing Goldenbraid and the power of assembly of parts.
