Hi all,

I hope everyone is doing well .

There seems to be a problem with no heat anywhere in the hallways and in the Laundry room.  The baseboards are off and throwing no heat at all.

Our apartment has been very cold when it gets colder and windy out, even with winterization,

I spoke to Management and Alicia stated she would let Theo know.

I am wondering if this is  linked to the sub metering that imposed not long ago.

The lobbies seem very warm.

I am wondering if any other tenants are experiencing the same problems?

We are the fifth floor.

Maybe other floors are warmer and the apartments are warmer.

Stay well and keep warm.

We've had no appreciable temp problems.  I would suggest speaking directly to Theo to get a straight answer.  Good luck

I am on 3rd floor on 625 side and no issues here.
Are your baseboards turning on?  Maybe your baseboards are just not working properly-  this is also a Theo issue.
However, it has absolutely nothing to do with the sub-metering.
As far as the hallways that is a Theo and management issue for sure.

I purchased a small space heater a few years ago when we had that polar snap and it works really well in a specific area- like where we are sitting or in a bedroom not for heating the entire living/dinning/kitchen area but it does help a lot.  I only use it when it’s really cold like 20° otherwise my baseboard heater is sufficient.
Good luck.

I do have a question about hallways and the 595 lobby (where nobody sits all day, unlike in 625) being so warm: is that necessary? Feels like a waste to me.
Best,
Bojana
