Today the EMAT sponsored legislation becomes state law. HB0544 –
has been assigned Public Chapter Number 365 by the Secretary of State.
For those members that may not have seen the final bill as approved by
the Tennessee State Legislature – you can find it on the Tennessee
General Assembly Web-site: http://state.tn.us/sos/acts/107/pub/pc0365.pdf
EMA Directors who are employed as of July 1, 2011 – are
grandfathered.
