The Weakley County EMA Office, in conjunction with the TN Fire and Codes Academy is hosting the following FREE Hazardous Materials Courses.  These courses are open to ALL RESPONDEERS at NO COST.  This may be the only opportunity you have to take these courses in Weakley County for several years.  We have tried to provide the courses in the evening hours and weekends.

HazMat Awareness - (No Pre-requisite, Choose One Class)

      Class 1 - April 16th 6pm-10pm

      Class 2 - May 14th 6pm-10pm

 

HazMat Operations - (Awareness is a Pre-requisite, Choose One Class)

      Class 1 - April 17th 6pm-10pm

                    April 21st 8am-6pm

                    April 22nd 8am-6pm

 

      Class 2 - May 15th 6pm-10pm

                    May 17th 6pm-10pm

                    May 18th 6pm-10pm

                    May 19th 8am-6pm

 

TFCA HazMat Technician - (Operations is a Pre-requisite)

      Class 1 - June 4th - 7th 8am-6pm

 

Courses will be taught at the Weakley County Sheriff's Department, 7951 Hwy 22, Dresden, TN.
