West TN Association of Fire Chiefs July 28th Meeting

The next scheduled West TN Association of Fire Chief’s Meeting is
scheduled for July 28, 2011 at 6pm, hosted by Chief Pearson at the
Jackson FD Headquarters/Training Center. The training topic will be
on Grants, which will be a good discussion as we all prepare for the
opening of the Assistance to Firefighter Grants. The meal will be
sponsored by G&C Supply!

Training:
- There will be an IS-300 and 400 course FREE of charge, scheduled for
the end of July at West TEMA REOC in Jackson, TN.
- The Incident Management Team (IMT) Course that had to be postponed
due to the April/May Storms will be held November 14-18th at West TEMA
REOC in Jackson, TN. Applicants must have completed all NIMS courses
through IS-400, if you were already registered you do not have to re-
apply and there is still room for any additional personnel who wish to
attend. This is a NFA course and POST approved for law enforcement
agencies.
- LEPC Conference scheduled for August 9-10, 2011 at Paris Landing
State Park
